So we went down to the plot today, I know Jay had said that one of the beds was under water, but I didn't think it was going to be so bad ....... how wrong was I?
Not only is one of the beds under water, its a good 2-3 inches under water. There is nothing we can really do about it, so we just have to hope for good weather to dry it up (which doesn't look likely after seeing the forecast for the next week).
But we did manage to get some work done.
Our neighbour, Dick, gave us a load of horse manure which has now filled up one of our composting bins and it will be spread over the beds as soon as we can get that done.
Also managed to wash some pots today, which is well needed. I think most of you will be wondering why on earth I washed up flower pots, well, to answer your question, its to stop the spread of any diseases from past plants to new ones we will be using the pots for.

We managed to get a bit of tidying done before the wind and rain started, but we do hope to get down there again soon.
It wont be tomorrow as it is Jay's 40th tomorrow and I sai
